VOTES AND MEASURES
One of the most important aspects of any Advisory Neighborhood Commission, including ANC 1A, is developing, making, and advising on policies that impact how the District of Columbia makes, implements, and monitors laws and regulations. New legislation is passed by the Council of the District of Columbia almost every week. Likewise, the executive branch, including the Mayor and executive departments, agencies, offices, boards, and commissions, implements those laws and promulgates the regulations used to assist in that implementation. Please get in touch with our office to share your thoughts on legislation, agency actions, community projects, or other concerns that may affect you, your family, your community, and our neighborhood.
